Print Bar Code (Enter Attendance)

If you need to print one or several bar codes using a Dymo LabelWriter printer, click the button with the bar code icon on it located under the names list and just to the right of the dialog's Close button on the Enter Attendance dialog.

Before you click the button to call the Print Bar Code function, first select the name on the Names List for whom you want to print the bar code.

After you click the button to call up Print Bar Code, the dialog that appears, will confirm for you the name for whom the bar code will be printed along with the relevant print parameters needed to print the bar code.

Label Size. Select either of two label sizes, either Dymo's Return Address label (#30578 at Staples or #30330 if you order from the Dymo.com web site) or Dymo's standard Mailing Label (#30252 from Staples or if you order from Dymo.com). The choices are given based on the label size (in case you order an equivalent label from a third party source). The Return Address labels are 3/4 x 2 inches, and the mailing label is 1-1/8 x 3-1/2 inches.

Label Source. Select the Label Source. If you purhcased the LabelWriter Twin Turbo, you can have two different styles of labels in the printer at one time. This, for example, would let you load one roll with name tag-sized labels or forms, and the other side can have a label for the bar code. Select the source for the label as appropriate.

If the Printer Name field does not display the name of the Dymo printer connected to your computer, click the Select Printer button, find the Dymo printer on your list and select it.

Click Save Settings when you have the settings as they will normally be needed.

Click Print Bar Code to actually print the bar code.

Once the settings have been saved, you'll only need to click Print Bar Code on return trips to this dialog.
