Preferences

The Preferences Menu gives you access to items in CMD that you may tailor to your needs. Though these preferences may be changed at any time, it is best to set as many of them as early in your use of CMD as possible to minimize updating you might have to do later on.

The preferences you set from this menu are all stored in the Preferences.CMD file, which is created when you create a CMD data file and placed in the data folder. This allows the preferences to be unique for each data file you create.

Many of the preferences are grouped together in the General Preferences dialog. However, a few of them have their own menu choice on the Preferences menu.
