CMD 2011.3 New Features

New Features in 2011.3

Attendance Entry

The Marked Names List now displays the names in alpha order, last name first. It also now includes Suffix if one is present.

When using the Attendance Entry by Phone dialog, CMD now checks for home phone or cell phone.

Print Names

Changed the way the Other Phone Label prints in Format B and Customized formats. Prior to now, the label would always say "Other Ph" or "Oth". Now the actual Other Phone Label that you enter will be displayed. Note that this only applies to Format B and Customized. This does not change the way it's printed on Rotary Cards because of space limitations.

Bug Fixes

A number of small bugs have been eliminated for 2011.3:

The error you received if you went from Print Names to the Enter Attendance dialog and tried to enter attendance after that. The error would not be generated if you did not go to Print Names first. Now you can go to Print Names first with no problems.

Trying to move to a new family in Enter/Modify/Delete Names after a deletion would generate an error message. You could leave Enter/Modify/Delete and then come back in and it would be fine. Now you don't have to leave Enter/Modify/Delete Names after a deletion for it to work correctly.

The One Label Per Husband/Wife parameter on the Print Control page of Print Names would sometimes not enable properly when you selected an Output Form that used it. It enables at the correct times now.

One of the church directory forms, the half-page 5.5 x 8.5 inch form had an important bug that has been fixed. This form included the ability to print directions to the home of those in the directory, and used the Family Comments field to hold it. It was supposed to trigger by means of finding ~DIR~ at the very end of the comments. That part worked correctly. What didn't work correctly is that if no ~DIR~ was found, all comments would be printed. Though this bug has now been eliminated as of this update, please check to make sure that any of these forms you have printed do not have the comments information printed there.
