Special Features for SDA Churches/Pastors in CMD for 2009

This year we introduced an Interest File tracking system built-in to the main program database. So, in addition to all the normal functions for your secretary, clerk, treasurer, and the many pastoral-ministry-focused features, you can now use the same program to track your interests. There are ways to monitor Bible-study progress, attendance at events or evangelistic series, and much more.

CMD 2009.2 (available very soon) will enable you to access your data remotely with the optional remote server software available for CMD. The cost of this server software is very reasonable and is based on the number of simultaneous connections you need.

The remote access can be either over a simple-to-implement (and free!) VPN software package, or for use on a Windows Terminal Session that you can accessed from any computer without having to have the software installed on it. This feature will be fully enabled with CMD 2009.2, and is a free update for CMD 2009.1 users. All you’ll need will be the optional remote server software.
