Christian Learning

To get to the Christian Learning dialog, click the Christian Learning item on Tools Menu.

Christian Learning is designed to help you track the progress or any name in your data file through any sort of learning experience.

Primarily, "CL" was designed with outreach ministries in mind, however you can use it for any sort of individual or group learning setting, any sort of class, lectures, general meetings, training programs, or any other type of program you use in your ministry setting.

For example, you could use CL to track participants in a Family Life Class that you run as a service to your community. Perhaps you have individuals who wish to take studies from Scripture to learn about the Christian faith. CL can help you track studies either for individuals or in a group setting.

Or, suppose you wish to offer a training program for the elders in your church. CL can handle that as well.CL allows you to update and view information by individual, by learning experience, by specific topic of a learning experience, by a specific teacher or facilitator, and more.

You can define any number of learning experiences each containing any number of topics and teachers and dates of occurrence, and any number of names may be associated with any number of learning experiences.

It is designed to give you wide-ranging freedom in what and how you define learning experiences and how they are applied to any name or group of names in your data file.

There are 5 tab pages on the Christian Learning dialog that give you access to its various functions:

By Name. This page allows you to enter, update, or view the learning experiences of any individual.

By Experience. This page allows you to select a learning experience, topic, teacher, date, and response to the presentation (in whatever form it takes) and quickly apply it to a group of people by using Name Search tools.

By Roster. Similar to By Experience, By Roster takes it a step further and allows you to deal with a specific list of names who have been pre-determined to be a part of a learning experience.

Define Experiences. This page allows you to tell CL what your list of learning experiences will be, the kinds of responses you wish to track when a particular topic has been finished, a teacher/facilitator, a date for each topic in the learning experience, and a sequence in which they should be listed for reporting purposes.

Print. This page allows you to print reports based on specific criteria in CL. For example, you can print a list of names who are part of a particular learning experience, or even a particular topic of a particular learning experience.
