Schedule Places

 

To reserve a place in your church such as a classroom, fellowship hall, courtyard, sanctuary, or any other type of space, click the Schedule | Places item on the Tools Menu.

When you first arrive at the Schedule Places dialog, the View Reservations tab is selected. This page contains a grid that displays each current reservation - that is, active reservations for today onward - for every place that you make available for reservations.

To filter the list to a specific place, open the combo box labeled View Reservations for..., and select a place from the drop-down menu. The grid will then display only those reservations associated with the place you selected. If there are no items on this drop-down list, then you will need to define some places first (see note below).

You may also view reservations prior to today by opening the drop-down box labeled Reservations Date Range and selecting Prior Reservations Only. You can also select Current Reservations Only, or Both Current and Prior Reservations.

If you wish to view more details about the reservation or modify it, double-click directly on the item in the grid you wish to view, modify, or print. The Make Reservations / View Details tab page will display all the details about the reservation. Or, click on the reservation you wish to view in the grid, then click the Make Reservations or View Reservation Details tab.

New Reservations

If you wish to make a new reservation for a place, click the Make Reservations / View Details tab page. Note that you can only make reservations to places that have already been defined (see next paragraph).

Define Places

Click the Define Places tab to define any place for which you will be accepting reservations. To define a place is to give it a name, define which type of group may reserve the space (church ministry use only, a place members can reserve, a place open to community reservations, etc), what the rental charges, if any, will be, the cleaning deposit, key check-out, and more.

Print

To print reservation forms, lists, or details about rooms you have defined, click the Print tab.

If you wish to print a single reservation form, click on the specific reservation in the grid, then click the Printer icon in the upper right corner of the tab page.
