Interest File

The Interest File provides the means to track specific information about people who might have some interest in eventually joining your church such as how they learned about your church, their religious background, materials they have received, and more.

The basic family, address, and individual name information about each name is actually stored in the CMD's family and individual data files, but the additional personal items and the additional interest-specific items are stored in a physically separate, interest file.

This means you can access interest names separately, but also gradually integrate them into the CMD data file as it becomes appropriate at whatever level you choose.

For example, you can easily mark an interest family to begin receiving church newsletters, track their attendance at worship or other functions, include them in birthday lists, etc.

The Interest File dialog includes all the functions necessary to add interest families and individuals, delete them, move data from the interest file to the main CMD data files, and to print them based on several criteria.
