Utilities Menu > Dates Update

The Dates Update item on the Utilities Menu checks all the dates in CMD's data tables to make sure that blank dates show up as blanks rather than "12/30/1899".

Generally, this utility only needs to be run if you have imported data from a version of CMD prior to 2012. The data engine used in CMD in 2011 and earlier represented blank dates in a different way than does our present data engine causing blank dates to appear as 12/30/1899. Running this utility will set all such dates to a NULL value, which then shows up simply as a blank date in CMD.

Note that even if you have no such dates, running this utility will not harm your data in any way.
