In some churches it is required or desirable to track clerk information. This information includes when and how a person joins or leaves your church.

The Joining Method field stores the way a person enters membership in your church. To select the Joining Method, click the small arrow icon at the right edge of the edit box to open up a menu of choices.

The "pick list" of choices may be modified by selecting the Menu Items option on the Preferences Menu, or you may double-click directly in the Joining Method edit box to see the dialog used to edit menus.

To make a selection, highlight a choice on the menu and press Enter. Then press Tab to move on to the next field, Joining Specifics..
